According to a web site that shows his Astro Profile, Julius Henry was
born at 08:35 (AM) on 2 October 1890.

Beats the heck outta me what it all means (and I don't recall ever
reading about Groucho's exact birth *time*, but it could be out there,
I suppose).

Anyhow, I thought it was an interesting way to remind us all that a
legend was born 121 years ago today (and to put some content back into
the newsgroup). October 2nd fell on a Thursday in 1890. For those
who remember the old birth day rhyme, "Thursday's child has far to
go."

I think Groucho went pretty far in his lifetime.

Hey, Pete! That weren't no ricketty-shaw - that's a litter, with four
litter-bearers, mind ya. :-) But how they hoofed it across the big
pond with the good Captain enthroned is anyone's guess.
